In the name of God the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Palestinian National Liberation Movement
"Fatah"
Military Communiqué No. (1)
Issued by the General Command of al-Asifa Forces
Relying on God. Believing in the right of our people to struggle to recover their usurped homeland and believing in the duty of holy jihad... Believing in the position of the revolutionary Arab from the [Atlantic] Ocean to the [Persian] Gulf and believing in the support of the free and honorable people of the world... Therefore, wings of the strike forces moved on the night of Friday 31 December 1964, and carried out the operations required of them in full within the occupied territory ... they all returned to their camps safely ... We warn the enemy not to take any measures against peaceful Arab civilians wherever they may be... Our forces will respond to the attack with similar attacks... We will consider these actions as war crimes... We also warn all states against intervening in favor of the enemy in any way... Because our forces will respond to this action by exposing their interests to destruction wherever they are…
Long live the unity of our people
Long live their struggle to regain their dignity and homeland
